Seamus Heaney and Everyday Miracles (27 April 2017)
The spring flight of the zeppelin Gulliver at DOX Gallery commemorated one of the greatest Anglophone poets of the twentieth century, the Irish Nobel Prize laureate Seamus Heaney (1939 – 2013).The evening featured the poet’s daughter Catherine Heaney, the founder of Art for Amnesty Bill Shipsey, the poet and critic Justin Quinn, and translator Daniel Soukup. The translator and critic Mariana Machová hosted the event.
