
The Centre for Irish Studies invites you to “Lost Decades or Decades of Change? Mid–Twentieth–Century Ireland“, a guest lecture by Dr Tomás Finn. The lecture will take place on Thursday 18 April, 12:30 – 14:00 in Room 111.
Tomás Finn is a lecturer in history at the University of Galway. His research interests include the role of intellectuals, Church-state relations, public policy, civil society, the Irish Diaspora and Northern Ireland. His monograph Tuairim, intellectual debate and policy formulation: Rethinking Ireland, 1954-75 (Manchester UP, 2012) has won the NUI Galway School of Humanities Book Prize.
