The Centre for Irish Studies is pleased to invite you to “Literature and Politics in the Early Modern Irish period, c.1200-1650″, a guest lecture by Dr Ken Ó Donnchú (University College Cork). The lecture will take place on Thursday 29 February, 12:30-14:00 in Room 111.

Ken Ó Donnchú (MA, PhD) is a graduate of NUI Galway and University College Cork, where he lectures in the Department of Modern Irish. He previously taught in Charles University Prague, and Université de Bretagne Occidentale, Brest. He has published on various aspects of Irish literature, and is currently working on his first monograph on Irish translations from Spanish.
