The Centre for Irish Studies cordially invites you to two events with the Irish poet and academic Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh (University College Cork).

The lecture, entitled “Eco-consciousness in Biddy Jenkinson’s Short Fiction”, will take place on Thursday 19 October 2023, from 15:50 – 17:20 in Room 1 (Faculty of Arts, Jan Palach Square 2, Prague 1).

The reading will take place on Thursday 19 October 2023 at 7.30 pm in Kavárna Liberál (Heřmanova 6, Prague 7). The poet’s work will be featured in Irish and in Czech translations by Martin Světlík, Daniela Theinová, and Adéla Černá.
