Please join us for the Centre’s annual celebration of St Patrick’s Day at Kampus Hybernská, this time on Friday 14 March at 19:30. The event will open with a presentation of the new issue of the PLAV magazine dedicated to poetry from Northern Ireland, featuring Czech translations by the Centre’s graduates and students. Passages from the translation of Brian Merriman’s Cúirt an Mheán Oíche will be delivered by the poem’s Czech translator Martin Světlík, and around 20:00, Conamara Chaos featuring a guest appearance by Jáchym Hájek will play their specially curated festive set.
